LA Girl’s trip

Did someone say 'GIRLS TRIP'?! On the road we go! Down the I-5 from San Francisco to Los Angeles, this had to be one of the most memorable girls’ trips I've ever had. With my girls who are from the East Coast, I wanted them to experience my California as much as possible, and so the adventure began. As we arrived, we got there before we could check into our Airbnb, so we took a stroll around Santa Monica and of course did some shopping on 3rd St Promenade and had an amazing view to start the trip off with. We started the night by hitting up Koreatown which has such a fun vibe at night and grabbed some dinner at 'Quarters' which is a delicious Korean barbecue restaurant.

Unfortunately, it was raining so it was hard to make it out to this bar that we were so eager to go to called 'Bungalow'. After 3 failed attempts, we finally made it there! Let me tell you, it was one hell of a time. In a house party vibe with great people and great drinks, we never wanted to leave. But let’s backtrack! So day 2, we had to check out the iconic 'Rodeo Drive' and feel a little… what’s it called? Bad and Bougie? On a gorgeous day, we took advantage of the amazing photo ops, but before that, we had to fuel ourselves up for some brunch! If you need any brunch spot to check out, you'll want to go to 'The Butcher, The Baker, and The Cappuccino Maker' where you can get some intricate and extremely instagramable latte's all while indulging in some delicious food (make sure to make a reservation, it does get very busy even on weekdays.)! To continue a relaxing and fun night with some views, make sure to drop by 'Perch' a rooftop bar in Downtown LA, but don't go during the Oscars! It'll ruin everything :(

Now, what’s a visit to LA without experiencing the 'Hit Me' cake at 'Catch LA', where you'll have amazing vibes and great food! Although, keep in mind... indulging in the amazingness of that will not help with a hike up the Hollywood hills! We were able to meet up with some other members of our crew and hike up to the sign and it was a breathtaking experience. Through the windy hills and dirt, the view and feeling you get once you reach the top is something unimaginable. I do recommend taking the backroad to the sign as you'll get extremely up close to it... I mean for a photo op and literally a few feet behind the sign! A few other of my recommended spots would include Alfred's Coffee which is perfect for an aesthetic but also has great drinks, Republic for an AMAZING brunch all while getting some European architecture vibes in there which is super cool, and take a stroll down Melrose Ave where you'll find the famous Pink Wall along with many other murals.  Now, what’s a trip to LA... if you don't stop at the beach! We chose to check out Venice Beach because it’s a cute area that is perfect for the gram' and has so much to see and do. That night, we chose to celebrate our friendship and for making this trip happen at the iconic 'Nobu Malibu' where we were luckily seated right next to the water and some important people we did not realize until after we left!

Finishing off our last few days, we checked out the Art District and the Japanese Garden nearby which was all so amazing to see, and cruised down the PCH to grab some brunch at 'Malibu Farm'. They had such creative and wonderful food! Although, make sure you know which one you're going to because there are 2 locations on the same pier, one at the front and one at the end!

LA. Friends. Smiles. New Friends. Unforgettable.
