Maui, Hawaii

I've only been to Hawaii once before, to the beautiful island of Honolulu. This time, I returned to experience the lush island of Maui. I cant lie, I had numerous moments where I channeled my inner Moana and Lilo (Which do you think I'm more of?) Once I landed, I started my trip by visiting the 'Old Lahaina Luau', which offered amazing views, food/drinks, and show. I particularly loved this luau because it focused on sharing the history of how Maui came to be rather than focusing on guys fire breathing (which is also cool).

If you're ever in Maui, make sure to stop by the little town called Paia. Its a small little town with AMAZING acai bowls which you can find at 'Paia Bowls'. Theres great restaurants everywhere you look and countless boutiques where you're bound to find a keepsake! If you keep driving up past Paia, you'll start the 'Road to Hana' which will take you around the whole island. On the way, you'll see a lookout point that will give you amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and maybe you'll even see my little friend (He's a cow, I named him Charlie) and can feed him some grass, all while looking out at a phenomenal view.

As you embark on the 'Road to Hana', keep your camera out as you'll see waterfalls left and right as they'll be all over the crazy narrow road you'll be on. Keep in mind, you probably won’t have cell service! Some of my favorite spots had to be this waterfall that is absolutely gorgeous that you'll find near the end of the road, about 45 minutes from the 'Black Sand Beach'. Its a gorgeous and long road, but definitely worth it, you can even grab some delicious banana bread while you're on the road!

For things to do off the 'Road to Hana' on the main island, you should definitely check out 'Coconut Fish Cafe' because they have AMAZING fish tacos and coconut shrimp! For something a little more luxurious, you can check out the 'Grand Wailea Resort' and get some amazing views as well as hang out on their private beach even if you aren't a guest.

Until I return, Mahalo, Hawaii for all the beautiful memories.
