Wine Country Style

I mean, 'wine' not?! If you know me, I love a good time sipping some delicious wine in the beautiful Napa Valley, California. I’m so lucky to live so closeby to this breathtaking place. While it is a small town with some not so “small” vineyards, it is also known for being luxurious and elegant. With that said, that means you have to be looking and feeling your best before you take a sip of that delicious Cabernet!

I’ve gone to Napa one too many times, sometimes 2x a month (shh… that’s our secret!), year-round, so I wanted to share some outfit inspiration for different seasons and what’s a great yet casual look to wear to a winery. I also included some of my elevated looks for you to get some inspiration from as well.

Which look is your favorite?

These are some of my favorite summer looks. It can get extremely hot and humid during the summer and spring seasons, so I suggest wearing lightweight fabrics and flowy pieces. Also, comfy shoes are a must!

My pro tip? Throw a pair of heels in the car for a picture but wear some comfortable sandals or flats during your tastings. Most of the time you will be standing or walking around, so you don’t want to be uncomfortable!

Late Fall + Winter | while it is chilly in the summer, the winters in Napa aren’t too terrible! You don’t need any heavyweight coats or anything like that. Just a simple sweater or a coat over a long-sleeve will be perfect. This is also a great time to integrate your sneakers for a casual yet elevated outfit. One staple I do love to wear in Napa during this time of year is booties!

Pro tip #2 - You can easily get away carrying a very small crossbody. Bring your ID, money, sunglasses, hand sanitizer (because hygiene duh), and your chapstick/lipstick! You’ll forget about the rest.

Fall | This is probably my favorite time to go to Napa because the weather will be basically perfect. You wont’ stress too much about sweating bullets or worrying if you’re going to freeze without a jacket. My favorite go-to pieces for this time of year are midi skirts and dresses along with some lightweight tapered pants with a crop top and a leather moto jacket.

Pro tip: Just because it’s not super hot, remember to stay hydrated and have fun (responsibly of course)!
