Last Minute Valentine's Day Outfits
Whether you're celebrating Valentine's with your significant other or Galentine's day, it's always a good excuse to get dressed up. The only problem tends to be, "what the f*ck do I wear!"
In today's blog post, I put together some simple pieces that you could also pull from your own wardrobe to build some inspiration or a similar outfit for this *unique* holiday. If you look good, you feel good, and confidence is key!
If you guys know me, I love midi dresses! I love them so much I even have a post called "The Midi Edit" where I go through the different ways to style this new trend. I thought this option was a great idea for V-Day because it can be so versatile and easy to dress up if you're going somewhere fancy or dress down for a casual spot. The perfect option for feeling sexy but still playing it on the "safe side".
I know it's not too warm everywhere quite yet so dresses may not be the most ideal option which is why I also wanted to include some pieces with denim and my favorite staple piece of the season, coats. The trick to creating the perfect casual outfit is a staple piece. For example, I picked out these white pants from Abercrombie which I LOVE, and paired them with a lace bodysuit to add some detail to the look. Neutrals are always a fantastic way to build the foundation for a stellar outfit.
I initially thought that it'd be a great idea to wear a big pink floofy dress but then I realized how unrealistic of an outfit it'd be for most people. SO. As an alternative, I went with the classic LBD which you can never go wrong with. I found this dress from Aritzia which I'm in love with and included a blazer to spruce up my outfit. You could even rock a leather jacket or a coat (inserts happy dance :") ). This look is perfect for someone who's going for a more dressy and romantic look and trying to get some pics for the gram, cause if it's not on Instagram it didn't happen, right?
